Coconut Oil Was Clinically Studied for Reversing Alzheimer’s Disease! (and Here Are the Shocking Results!)

This clinical trial was done in Spain, but Spain as well as other EU nations and middle eastern nations, including Israel, which seem less restricted with what they can research and study without pharmaceutical funding. The results of that study are expected in 2016. According to the word on the street, there has been a high success rate.

The misconception of no and low fat dieting

In fact, clean saturated fats, which are not hydrogenated or otherwise adulterated are of vital importance for brain and overall health. They do not actually trigger obesity and heart disease.

In the 1950s, the notoriously faulty Ancel Keys Seven Countries Study was accepted whole cloth by the medical establishment, media, and the margarine and processed cooking oil manufacturers. To explain you more deeply, it gave Crisco and others the base to pitch their unhealthy processed hydrogenated oils, which contain trans-fats, to substitute c palm oil, oconut oil, and butter.

It’s been found that hydrogenated and semi-hydrogenated oils that contain trans-fats are more responsible for heart disease, obesity, and a variety of autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis.

But, refined carbohydrates, added high sugar, particularly high fructose corn syrup, have added to the increase in obesity with heart problems remaining at the top of disease morbidity despite the no or low fat mania of several decades.

What about the pharmaceutical failures for Alzheimer’s

So far, all pharmaceutical drugs designed for Alzheimer’s have been unsuccessful, creating adverse side effects. Therefore, Alzheimer’s is considered untreatable disease.

According to a study, there are many with high cholesterol counts that live to well into their 80s. But, ironically, blockbuster Big Pharma revenue statin drugs trigger more by doing what they claim, decreasing cholesterol counts.

Coconut oil for prevention and reversal of Alzheimer’s

Dr. Stephanie Steneff explains the brain represents only 2% of the body’s total mass, but contains 25% of the total cholesterol. What’s more, cholesterol is required everywhere in the brain as a structural scaffold for the neural network, an electrical insulator to prevent ion leakage, as an antioxidant,  and a functional component of all membranes. It is also used in the wrapping and synaptic delivery of the neurotransmitters. Plus, it also plays a significant role in the formation and functioning of synapses in the brain.

Since it contains medium chain triglycerides or MCTs, coconut oil differs from most other saturated fats, i.e., essentially fats that remain solid at room temperature. Unlike the more common long chain triglycerides, these are easily digested by the liver as well as converted to energy in the form of ketones.

On the other hand, long chain triglycerides don’t get readily converted into ketones, which can be used by cells for energy. Additionally, most of LCTs or LCFAs end up getting stored as fat.

Also, brain cells that have difficulty uzing insulin for glucose end up starving to death. Whole brain sections become useless as from the lack of energy triggered by reduced glucose utilization.

That’s not all, this similarity to diabetes type-2 with it’s cellular inability to process insulin, or insulin resistance, which is a major reason why Alzheimer’s or any dementia is considered diabetes 3.

However, the solution for diabetes 3 is ketones derived from the liver’s processing coconut oil MCTs.

Unluckily, ketones are easy come easy go. A person should maintain a steady healthy virgin coconut oil diet at the recommended pace of three or more tablespoons on a daily basis in order to maintain the cells energy levels.
