You should put 5-10 drops of lavender oil on a sugar cube in order to sooth agitation, depression, heart aches and pains, rush of blood in the head, and prevent dizziness or vertigo.
You can make this really easy homemade recipe to fully take advantage of the potential curative power of this aromatic plant.
Homemade lavender lemonade recipe
- 3 tablespoons of dried lavender flowers
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of lemon juice
- 1 cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of honey
- 4 or more cups of water to taste
1. First of all, you should make lavender syrup by heating two cups of water in a small pot and dissolve the cup of sugar in it. Additionally, the sugared water should boil while stirring it gently and all the sugar should fully dissolves.
2. Afterwards, remove the mixture from the stove top and let it cool slightly. Once it has cooled, put the lavender flowers and the honey into the mixture. Then, cover it and leave it stand for 10-15 minutes.
3. At least, drain the lavender syrup.
Next, you should dilute the syrup with water to taste and then, add the lemon juice. Also, mix it well and store it in a fridge to cool.
Note: This refreshing beverage is best served chilled, especially with ice cubes.
It can be added to fruit beverages, for instance cocktails, lemonade, vodka, champagne, or cakes as its aromatic sweetness is a healthier substitute for plain sugar.
